By Essilor News

September 25, 2017 – For the second consecutive year, Essilor of America is one of the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work. Of more than 500 applicants, only 101 companies earned this honor.
“Best Places to Work gives organizations the opportunity to compete to be recognized as a place where people love to work,” says Steve Cunningham, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and General Services. “For the second year in a row, our employees are letting our community know what we already know -- that Essilor is one of the area’s best kept secrets as an employer.”
Employees in participating organizations received a survey that covers a wide range of workplace factors that impact employee engagement and satisfaction, and Best Places to Work winners were chosen solely based on results of the survey. Nearly 600 Essilor of America employees completed the survey. Participants also could provide optional responses to open-ended questions, and employees shared more than 1,200 comments. Essilor’s mission of improving lives by improving sight was a common theme, cited by many employees as a strong point of pride.
