Essilor Announces Promotions For Essilor Labs

DALLAS – (February 1, 2007) – Essilor of America, Inc. (EOA) announced today that Réal Goulet has been appointed president of Essilor Laboratories of America, Inc. (ELOA), effective immediately. Réal replaces John Carrier, who was recently named president of Essilor of America, Inc. (EOA).
Réal joined Essilor in 1987 as production manager of the Montreal laboratory. While in Canada, he continued to assume roles of greater responsibility, including president of Pro-Optic and vice president of operations for Canada Group Laboratories. He joined Essilor of America in 2004, most recently holding the position of senior vice president, National Laboratories Division.
Also, Mike Nathe, senior vice president Eastern Division of ELOA, will assume additional responsibilities with the Northeast Region, which will now be moved into the Eastern Division.
Essilor is also pleased to announce Rick Long has been promoted to senior vice president for the Partner Lab Division. Partner Labs are labs that have joined Essilor since 2003. Rick joined Omega Labs in 1991 as chief financial officer and has served in several key roles, including region vice president for the Ohio Great Lakes Region. Rick returned to Dallas in 2001 and has led the development of the Partner Lab Division since its inception in 2003.
