Dr. Kundart is indefatigable in his passion for accessible healthcare for all. This man heads a mission - with the help of equally committed interns - to Costa Rica every year to provide free services and materials to people in need. They boast each year of the number of people they were able to help, which is usually between 600-800 patients within three short days. At home in the US, he ensures all of his patients receive the one-on-one care he believes everyone deserves, and even provides his business card with his personal cell number to ensure they can reach him, regardless of financial status. He finds new ways of fabricating expensive lenses which allows their accessibility to patients who normally couldn't afford them. He never turns a patient away, even when justified, because he believes that is a new opportunity to provide care and learn from that person. He is a man of pure integrity who truly understands the Hippocratic Oath.
