NOTICE ON FRAUDULENT JOB OFFER ACTIVITY
It has come to our attention that there have been fraudulent actors using the Essilor name and offering jobs to prospective job candidates on various recruiting sites for positions at Essilor and/or its affiliates. Such activity may include sending an offer letter, requesting upfront fees and information such as payment for an application, background check, the purchasing of certain supplies, employee processing fee, rental of office space, or even providing you a check as reimbursement. Please be vigilant and do not provide personal information or payment of any kind without first verifying that the job is legitimate by contacting talent.acquisition@essilorusa.com. Law enforcement has been notified and are investigating this matter.
Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam offering fake job opportunities to job seekers. This type of fraud is normally carried out through online services such as false websites, or through fake e-mails claiming to be from a legitimate company. The fraudsters often request recipients to provide personal information and to make payments as part of their fake recruiting process.
Essilor will never require any financial commitment from candidates as a pre-employment requirement.
All Essilor applicants are required to only apply for Essilor jobs through the following link: https://www.essilorusa.com/careers.
If you have a question about whether or not a job being offered to you is legitimate please reach out to the email address above so we can confirm legitimacy and get back to you as soon as possible.
