Essilor’s commitment to learning and development allows our employees to develop skills through comprehensive training programs.

Fundamentals Courses

Our fundamental courses teach employees the range of skills they need to be successful in their career.  Course include: Essilor Fundamentals, Lens Fundamentals, Lab Operations Fundamentals, Working Fundamentals and Career Fundamentals.  Employees are encouraged to take career specific training.

Management Courses

The Management courses are designed to develop essential management knowledge and skills, with each course targeting a different management audience.  Courses include: Essilor Supervisor Essentials, Sales Management Excellence, Leadership Essilor and Essilor Management Essentials.  We also have a Lab Designate Program to prepare employees for positions in Lab Management.

Sales Courses

Road to Excellence is Essilor's new hire on boarding program for Sales Consultants.  The program includes one-on-one training, webinars, online learning, and self-study and a Certification Event.

Lab Courses

APEX Optics (Achieving Professional Excellence in Optics) is a training and certification program developed for lab operations employees.  It includes one-on-one training, web-based training, hands-on learning, observations, and a supervisor certification.
